Finally got the android auto update done from gillanders in peterhead, they failed 1st time round kind of in that they managed to install android auto but as the installation was stuck on 89% it resulted in me loosing the dashboard screen which was just blank. Back today after they spoke to vauxhall to resolve which I believe entailed have an external battery also connected to enable the update to be successful. Dashboard screen now back to life and android auto installed,£54 which I thought was reasonable. So anybody looking to get it done in the Aberdeenshire area this is where I would advise. I would shop around and try to get a fixed price before they do it as they will need to keep car most of the day.
