The game is completely finishable without micro transactions.I finished the game and I don't know my exact amount of Mirian but it's very near 1 million. The most expensive thing you can buy with Mirian costs 750.The gold is ofcourse the part where micro transactions come in play. The thing is. You don't need loot boxes.

I've only bought loot boxes after I finished the game and with on game money because I wanted to make one bad ass fortress filled with loot box orcs.I hate the fact that people call this game pay to win and games like Warframe or Assassin's creed origins not. Warframe is more pay to win than both. Shadow of war and assassin's Creed micro transactions are almost identical.And what's also annoying is that people are like: 'Oh, I don't like that part of the game, must be because of the micro transactions.'

.People hate shadow of War for its end game, but batman arkham knight also had this kind of end game and the game has no micro transactions.The main reason why people hate the end game is because 'you need to pay money to win'.Look, the end game is called Shadow Wars. It has 10 stages, in those 10 stages, you have to defend your fortress against attacks. The main argument that people use is that you need good orcs and you can get those out of loot boxes, otherwise you have to grind. There are three things about this which I need to talk about.You can finish shadow wars without using any orcs you previously have dominated or bought. Why buy orcs when you can dominate THE ENEMIES THAT ARE ATTACKING YOU.People are saying that if you don't buy those orcs, you have to grind to get good orcs. Dominating orcs is literally the biggest part of the nemesis system, which is the main selling point of the game. If you consider that grind.

Then damn, you should honestly rethink everything about gaming. Shadow of mordor worked exactly the same and shadow of mordor doesn't have micro transactions.So what if you want to buy loot boxes so you can get those orcs immediately? Death cab for cutie forbidden love rar.

You can get loot boxes without paying any money though. You get loot boxes by doing storyline missions or extra missions (kill this type of enemy, scare 5 enemies, go to this place and kill 18 enemies, ride an animal bla bla bla). You also get in game money out of those missions and Story, you can usw the in game money to buy loot boxes.So again, you don't need orcs out of loot boxes to finish the game, the stuff you need, to get loot boxes are gotten in game in two ways.

And the stuff you get out of loot boxes can be gotten in game, it's the main point of the game.
